Well back to the grind we are! Colin's in Kindergarten and it was SO sweet to see how excited the children all were to see each other this morning. I hadn't realized that I had missed them too!
I hope everyone had a good holiday. Ours had a little bad and a little ugly, but still a whole lot of good. I have so much that I am thankful for!
I don't know how it got to be the end of the month AGAIN. Speaking of which I am just finishing up my layout for Angelica's Butterfly Challenge at Swirlydoos. I was also inspired by Mandy's "Curves" challenge so I'll be entering it for that as well. I'll post pics here when it's done!
I am still holding out hope to complete Manda's "Naturally Beautiful" challenge as well. I was SO inspired that I got some really great photos out in my yard. Need to scrap them! I have a really fun idea so I hope I have time to pull it off.
Oh! And the big news of the weekend is I HAVE A SCRAP ROOM! Well okay to be fair I had pirated what was the attempt at a dining room here for my crafting space out of necessity. The thing is that it has never felt like a dining room and we've never used it as such. So this weekend I got the go ahead from my wonderful hubby and moved things around a bit. Now I don't have to feel guilty for working in there since we gave up on it being a dining room! I am so excited. I have a REAL scrap table and all my things within reach! And moving the table out of the center of the room really opened things up. (Now I just have to finish cleaning up all my stuff on the floor waiting for its new home!) I can't wait to show you brag pics when I'm done.
If you have a great scraproom organizing tip that works for you please share! Since so many of us have and use the same things it would be great to see how everyone stores their stuff. How do you organize your Distress Inks? Stickles? Glimmer Mists? Bling? Punches? Let's swap secrets!
Much Love,
Jennifer
